Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By using ExecutiveAgent Empire (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
The Service is a personal automation tool that authenticates with Google via OAuth to access the authenticated user's own Gmail and Google Calendar data, for the purpose of generating private productivity outputs (briefings, summaries, scheduling context). The Service is operated by and for a single individual user.
3. Authentication and Access
The Service connects to Google services only through standard OAuth flows. It accesses only the scopes that you explicitly authorize and only data belonging to the Google account you sign in with. You may revoke that access at any time via your Google Account permissions page.
4. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- Safeguarding your Google account credentials.
- Maintaining the security of any server or device on which the Service runs.
- Reviewing and managing the OAuth scopes you authorize.
- Ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable laws and with Google's terms of service.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to access data you are not authorized to access, to violate any law, or to interfere with the operation of any Google service or third-party system.
6. "As Is" — No Warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. The Service is a personal tool and may be modified, interrupted, or discontinued at any time without notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE OPERATOR OF THE SERVICE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (a) YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (b) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR DATA; OR (c) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SERVICE.
The total aggregate liability of the operator for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from any claim or demand arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
9. Privacy
Use of the Service is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
10. Modifications
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The current effective date appears at the top of this document.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by revoking OAuth access and removing the Service from your environment. The operator may suspend or discontinue the Service at any time.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of residence of the operator, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
